Given  :  function y = 2x + 4

To Find : Which table represents the function

A) x y -2 0 0 4 2 0

B) x y -2 8 0 4 2 8

C) x y -2 0 0 4 2 8

D) x y -2 8 0 4 2 6

Solution:

y = 2x + 4

x =  - 2

=> y = 2(-2) + 4  = - 4 + 4 = 0

=> ( - 2, 0)

x = 0

=> y = 2(0)+ 4 = 4

=> ( 0 , 4)

x = 2

=> y = 2(2) +  4 = 4 + 4 = 8

=> y( 2 . 8)

x   -2      0       2

y    0      4       8

Option C is correct .
