Which techniques is used for separation of both sand from a mixture of salt and water?

In a beaker, mix sand,salt and water. Salt will get dissolved in water. Allow the sand to settle down by sedimentation. when the sand settles down, pour the salt and water mixture slowly into another beaker. that's how u can separate sand from both salt and water.
