In simple words laser and in Complex, CD, VCD and all these types of other compact disc uses 780 nm wavelength of light for reading and storing anything. i.e infrared or red light which you could see in a reader. and also infrared light is not visible to us so u might wonder how we see the red laser light. basically Red laser light is a cell wall and the inner radius contains the infrared. typically a CD is only capable of storing 700MB of data but there are others too which can store more.
