a (first term) = 11
d (common difference) = 13-11 = 2
an (last term) = 89
Need to find - n (no. of terms)
We have a formula,
an = a+(n-1)d
89 = 11 + (n-1)2
89-11 = (n-1)2
78 = (n-1)2
n-1 = 78/2
n-1 = 39
n = 39 + 1
n = 40
So 89 is the 40th term of the given A.P
