I did this by having a=14,an=-1 and d = -3

We know that,

 

  nth term = a + (n - 1)d

a = first term = 14

n = nth term = -1

d = difference = -3

So,

A/above statement ,

⇒ 14 + (n - 1) (-3)= -1

⇒ 14 - 3n + 3 = -1

⇒ -3n = -18

∴ n = 6.
