Given AP is 6, 13, 20... Here a = 6 d = 13 - 6 = 7 a24 = 6 + (24 - 1) 7 = 167 Let an = 98 + a24 a + (n - 1)d = 98 +167 = 265 6 + (n - 1)7 = 265 (n - 1)7 = 259 Hence (n - 1) = 39 Thus n = 40
