Answer: Yes . It forms the 14 th term of the given AP

Step-by-step explanation:

a= 78

d= 72 - 78 = -6

let the nth term of the given AP be 0

Then, an = 0

==> a+(n-1)d = 0

On putting the values of a and d , we get 78 + ( n -1) (-6) = 0

==> 78 - 6n + 6 = 0

==> 78+ 6 -6n = 0

==> 84- 6n = 0

==> -6n = -84

==> n = -84 / -6

==> n = 14 .

Hence , 14 th term of the given AP is 0 .

Hope it helps
