Given :- First term ( a ) = 2
Common difference ( d ) = 7-2 = 5
Term ( n ) = ?
an = 137
So, to find term of A.P when digit of that term is given there is a formula
=> an = a + ( n - 1 )d
So, putting values here,
137 = 2 + ( n - 1 )5
137 = 2 + 5n - 5
137 = -3 + 5n
137 + 3 = 5n
140 = 5n
28 = n
So, for the term 28 the A . P. has 137 value.
