the first negative term is -3

bhattsneha07: Plz give whole solution
maddydcrusher: A=121, D= -4 so a+(n-1)*d
maddydcrusher: 121+(N-1)(-4) => 121+ (-4N+4) => 121-4N+4 => 125-4N=0 N= 125/4=> 31.5
maddydcrusher: If the value of 'n' comes in fraction like 4.5 then 4.5 can't be a term of an AP then the higher nearest which is a 5th term must be negative.
maddydcrusher: So N should be 32
maddydcrusher: 121+(32-1)(-4) => 121+ (-124)=> -3 Ans
