by the formula:-, tn=a+(n-1)d
or, -22=5+(n-1)-3
or, -22-5=3-3n
or, -27=3-3n
or, -3n=-30
therefore,. n=10
since , -22 is the 10th term of AP

HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER. ........

HERE

AP = 5,2,-1,............

SO HERE

a = 5 and,

d = 2-5 = -3

Let

nth term if this AP is -22

so

a+(n-1) d = -22

=> 5+ (n-1)-3 = -22

=> (n-1)-3 = -22 -5

=> n-1 = -27/-3

=> n = 9+1

=> n = 10

so

WE GET THAT

THE 10th term of this AP is

-22.................
