Which term of progression 2, 6, 10, … … . is 92, find a17, a31.

Answer:

92=2+(n-1)4

90=(n-1)4

45/2-1=n

There fore 92 is not a term in this ap

a17=2+16×4

=66

a31=2+(30×4)

=122
