a = 3, d = 12

21st term = a + 20d

=> 3 + 20(12)

=> 3 + 240

=> 243

term value of the term An = 243 + 120 = 363

therefore An = 363 = 3 + (n-1) 12

363 = 3 + 12n - 12

=> 363 = 12n - 9

=> 372 = 12n

therefore n = 372/12

=> n = 31

answer is 31st term
