or, (n-1)(-2) = -49
or, n -1 = 49 /2
or, n = 49/2 + 1
or, n = 49 + 2/2
or, n = 51/2
or, n = 25.5 ≈ 26
or, take n = 26
Therefore, the first negative term is 26
