Which term of the AP : 8, 13, 18, 23, 28, … is 6 times the 7th term?​

In this ap series ,

a = 8

d = (18-13) = 5

7th term will.

t7 = 8 + (7-1)×5

= 8+30

t7 = 38

according to question the which we have to find out that term is 6 times of 7th term,

so, the value of that term is (38 × 6) = 228

now ,

tn = a + (n-1)d

here tn = 228

a= 8 , d= 5

find n

put the values,

228 = 8 + (n-1) 5

n-1 = 220/5

n = 44+1

n = 45

so, the term will 45 th term, which is 6 times of 7th term
