Answer:

-0.25

Step-by-step explanation:

In this AP :-

a = 20

d = -0.75

Let the last positive term be 0

a_{n} = 0

a_{n} = a + (n-1)d

0 = 20 + (n-1) (-0.75)

0 = 20 - 0.75n +0.75

0.75n = 20.75

n = 27.666666666.... (or let it be 27.667)

SINCE THE 27.6667 TERM IS 0 THEN THE NEXT TERM WILL BE NEGITIVE

THIS MEANS THAT THE 28TH TERM IS NEGITIVE

a_{28} = 20 + (28-1) (-0.75)

                          = 20 +  (-20.25)

                          = 20 - 20.25

                = -0.25

Hope it helped you
