Here is the solution :

The series : 4,9,14 .....,

First term (a) = 4,

Common difference (d) = 9-4 = 14-9 = 5,

Nth term of an A.P (nth) = a + (n-1)(d),

Now,

let nth term be 124,

=> nth term = a + (n-1)(d)
=> 124 = 4 + (n-1)5
=> 120 = 5n - 5,
=> 125 = 5n
=> n = 25,

Therefore : 124 is the 25th term of the given sequence,

Hope you understand, Have a great day !
Thanking you, Bunti 360 !!

25th term
124=4+(n-1)5
124-4 =(n-1)5
120÷5= n-1
24=n-1
24+1=n
n=25
therefore 124 is 25 trem
