Here,
First term (A) = 3
Common difference (D) = 4
Tn= 47
A + (N-1) × D = 47
3 + (N-1) × 4 = 47
3 + 4N -4 = 47
-1 + 4N = 47
4N = 47+1
4N = 48
N = 48/4
N = 12
Hence,
12th term of the given AP is 47.
