Answer: Clean Verbatim Transcription.

There are two transcription types.

1. True Verbatim Transcription
In this the responses from the interviewee or speaker are transcripted as they are seen and heard. Speech errors, false starts, filler words such as um, uh, hmm, so, you know, sort of, exclamations , sounds made are all transcribed.

The questions from interviewer are always transcribed in "clean" way.

2.  Clean Verbatim Transcription
In this method the transcribed text does not include speech errors, false starts and various filler words.

Clean Verbatim transcription is easier and quicker.  True verbatim transcription takes more time , more difficult and costlier too.
