Which test is mostly favoured for testing allergy??

RAST (Radioallergosorbent) Test is done for testing allergy.

Skin allergy test is routinely done for the diagnosis of allergies. Blood allergy tests like RAST , immunoCap are done when skin test is contraindicated ( eg patients on antihistamine) . Blood test are not routinely done because they have relatively high false positives
