Which test will distinguish b/w formic acid and acetic acid?

Tollens test is very helpful to differentiate between formic acid and acitic acid.

tollens test ( using ammoniacal silver nitrate solution ) or using fehlings solution.
formic acid gives silver mirror as it behaves as aldehyde while acetic acid fails as it gets oxidised.
