Essentially, this question depends on perspective.

I would say that it depends on personal opinion.

You see, the British are a bit discriminatory. Any accent, other than their "posh" will be mocked at.

For example, they mock Americans for their accent, because they tend to speak words fast.

On the other hand, the Americans love the "posh" accent very much. I have a taste of "Posh" in my accent. So, whenever I spoke there, with them, they tend to fall head over heels for me. So, it is quite prominent that they like the British accent.

So, after comparing two of these countries, I and you may conclude that the British accent is the best.

But that should not be the case. I think your accent, that is, the accent that makes you comfortable is the best. You should not, and can not, embrace an accent just depending on what the people say. So, to me, the accent which makes you comfortable is the best.
