Fundamental duty given in the Constitution of India is a group of moral and civil duties that apply to every citizen of India.
Chapter 51A was not part of the original constitution on fundamental duties, it was incorporated in the Constitution in 1976 by the 42nd Constitutional Amendment Act on the basis of recommendations of the Sardar Swaran Singh Committee.
