meosis is a process in which the amount of genetic material is halved and thefour haploid cells are formed from a single diploid cell.

meiosis takes place in the formation of gametes and all the tissues except those involved in gamete formation do not show meosis.

What in them takes place is mitosis.

for example

-->healing of wounds

-->growth

the tissues related to the content are

now what in place of meosis taking place is mitosis

Generally, it occurs in all tissues except mature nerve tissue and in the formation of gametes. Mitosis and cytokinesis together is defined as the mitotic (M) phase of the cell cycle, the division of the mother cell into two daughter cells, each the genetic equivalent of the parent cell.
