Healing of a wound is a multi-step process conducted by different elements. For example, the first step is a blood clotting over the wound which is done by blood clotting protein such as fibrinogen. Then comes tissue proliferation which is a division or growth of connective tissues over the wound and then comes the maturation. The maturation is a process in which tissues mature and become a skin.
