Well, actually Dr Bijoy Kumar Basu had introduced a therapy named as ''Acupuncture". He introduced this chinese therapy in the india and also help in the spread of it.The aim was to spread the acupuncture for the large number of people .He was also considered the doctor of modern medicine and thought to be a great humanist which also hold the presidency of the Acupuncture Association of India . He spread this chinese therapy in a non-commercial way and only for the benefits of people.
