Answer:

(a) 2/7 is smaller because in -5/-7 minus sign will be cancelled up and down so it will become 5/7 and 5/7 is greater than 2/7

(B) in 17/-4 the minus sign will come at 17 because it doesn't matter where the minus sign is whether up or down so it will become -17/4 and we know that in negative side the number which is greater is smaller and -1 is greater than -17/4

akanksha5722: oh tell me the answer
shakshi4278: 1=9/20 and second minus 17/-4
akanksha5722: mine which part is wrong (a) or (b)
shakshi4278: a one is wrong
akanksha5722: but you have to tell which is smaller and which is greater that i have explained
shakshi4278: but the a answer is coming 9/20 di
akanksha5722: its wrong answer
akanksha5722: because you see there is no 9/20 in question
akanksha5722: you can confirm from someone else also
shakshi4278: ok
