is bcuz the coromondel coast receives rain from the north east monsoon in which winds blow from .

It receives rain during retreating monsoon season
The winds blow from south-west fo Arabian Sea the then hit the Himalayan mountain , rain there , as they rained they r now become lighter and can carry more moisture with them
Therefore while returning back they as they carry moisture with them they rain in the cormandal cost there winds r called as Himalayan winds or north east winds
