hii dear!!!!!!!! in digestion the starch added in food is broken into simple substances most probably 100- 1000 glucose molecular substances ... after that the chemical reaction which takes place in digestion system is HYDROLYSIS reaction that further break these substance into more simpler forms by the action of certain enzymes...
