Rotational kinetic energy or angular kinetic energy is the energy produced when the body is moving in circular motion. This energy keep the body to move with the uniform speed in a circular direction. The formula used for this is E (rotational) = 1\2 I*W*W, whereas, I is for inertia , W is angular velocity and E is kinetic energy. Thus together the axis of rotation of body moving in circular notion has dependence upon these energies.
