Thank you for asking the question!
Rotational kinetic energy or angular kinetic energy is the energy produced when the body is moving in circular motion. This energy keep the body to move with the uniform speed in a circular direction. The formula used for this is E (rotational) = 1\2 I*W*W, whereas, I is for inertia , W is angular velocity and E is kinetic energy. Thus together the axis of rotation of body moving in circular notion has dependence upon these energies.
Hope it helps.

When we see a wheel we would be eager to see it turning. Wheel secures both kinetic and potential energy. Since it is moving, it has Kinetic energy and on the off chance that it achieves some height it has potential energy. Subsequently, we can state that rotational energy has both kinetic and potential energy.
Kinetic energy is of two types:
1.Rotational Kinetic Energy
2.Translational Energy
Translational energy is the kinetic energy that is picked up by an object amid its translational movement or movement along a line in a specific pivot.
It is given by,
K.E = 1/2mv² m = mass of the question or body and
v = the velocity of the object or body
Also, rotational kinetic energy is the energy which is picked up by an object or body on the virtue of its rotation.
It is given by,
Ek = 1/2 I ω2where, I = moment of Inertiaω= precise Velocity of the rotating body
