The conchae, meatuses, and paranasal sinuses are lined by respiratory epithelium composed of pseudostratified ciliated columnar epithelium ((Figure)). The epithelium contains goblet cells, one of the specialized, columnar epithelial cells that produce mucus to trap debris.
