hello mate ♥,

the gear rack is a portion of a spur gear with an infinite radius .this is a cylindrical shaped gear ,but with the teeth inside the circular ring .it can mesh with a spur gear .Internal gears are often used in planetary gear system .

four types of gear:-

1:-▶spur gear.

2:-◀bevel gear.

3:-▶ helical gear.

4:-◀worm gear.

thanks ❤ mate

Brijendra1singh: thakz mate...but other two types of geara are also there.. they were 1.double helical gear, 2.Hypoid gear

Answer:

Rack gear is the gear of infinite radius.

Explanation:

Rack gear is a gear that has an infinite diameter.

  • Racks are infinitely radial cylindrical gears that are typically used in conveyors. This gear is linear in shape, can mesh with a spur gear, and has a straight-line tooth profile.
  • Rack and pinion: A straight-line external and internal mesh is formed between a shaft's gear and the gears. The circular wheel is known as the pinion, and the straight-line gear with infinite pitch circle diameter is known as the rack.
  • Because the gears on a rack are formed over a straight line rather than a base circle, they have an infinite diameter.
  • A Rack, a little cylindrical gear that meshes with the gear rack, drives a gear rack that has straight teeth cut into one surface of a square or round section of rod. In general, "rack and pinion" refers to both the gear rack and pinion. Gears can be used in a variety of ways.
