From concave lens virtual ,inverted and small image is formed. Magnification power is always less than 1. Concave lens forms image behind the mirror , thus producing a Virtual and Upright image.

The image formed by a concave lens is always virtual , erect and smaller than the object .Iris on the same side of the lens as the object .

Generally it is fromed between the optical center of the lens and the principle focus F1 .

If the object is at infinity the image is a point image formed at F1.
