A freely falling body exhibits a accelerated motion. When a body freely falls the earth's gravitational force acts on it and produces acceleration in the body. The acceleration is constant which is 9.8 m/sĀ² called acceleration due to gravity. It is same for all objects falling from any height on earth.

Hope the answer helps you. Thank you.
