Reproduction in hydra:

Budding -

1. Hydra reproduce by budding.

2. This form of asexual reproduction is carried out by producing buds in the body wall.

3. These buds grow until they become miniature adults and finally break away when they mature.

4. A well nourished hydra can reproduce once in every two days.

Reproduction in amoeba:

Binary fission-

1. Binary fission is also a form of asexual reproduction.

2. Through mitotic division amoeba replicates its genetic material.

3. After division, it divides into two equally sized cells.

4. These cells are called daughter cells.
