which type of responsibility we have to take in our house when we become a mature person?
Answers
Answer:
Jesus says we are responsible for our actions. By shifting the blame to another, we attempt to diminish our own responsibility in the matter. In Adam and Eve’s situation God was not asking them what someone else had done to make them sin, He was asking them to take responsibility for their own behaviour. When we are angry, depressed, bitter, annoyed, impatient or fearful our natural response is to shift at least some of the responsibility onto people and circumstances that made us that way. When you realise that you have contributed through your wrong responses and attitudes you take up personal responsibility for your choices that have created these issues in your life. The enemy tells us that if we accept full responsibility for our own actions and behaviours we will be plagued with unnecessary guilt. The truth is only by accepting full responsibility for our actions and behaviours can we ever be fully free from guilt. As a writer once said sin is the best news there is, the best news there could be in our predicament. Because with sin, theres a way out. Theres a possibility of repentance. You cant repent of confusion or phycological flaws inflicted by your parents- you’re stuck with them. But you can repent of sin. Sin and repentance are the only grounds for hope and joy. - taken from Nancy Lee Demoss
