Answer: The correct answer is the reversible type of the turbine.

Explanation: The reversible type plant turbines are used mostly in the united states and they are used so that the direction of pumps is unidirectional that is they flow in one direction but in the other direction to turbines and they are attached to reversible motors or generators in which the function of motor is to drive the pump during the storage portion of the cycle and function of the generator is to produce electricity during the discharge and tidal power plant is the one which converts the energy received from tides into useful energy and this useful energy is mainly the electrical energy and the tidal turbines are very much similar to the wind turbines hence they also use a reversible type of turbine but they are effective for ocean currents as well and in this the blades rotates about 8 to 18 times per minute and it in turn depends upon the dtrenght of tides. The turbine here is connected to the genertaor box orgear box that turns generatir and creates elepctricity.
