Answer: Though the matter is very much debatable with some liking this or that version of Windows, however, most of the people disliked Windows ME and it only ran for one year before Microsoft bunked it.

It was made in haste with many loopholes and never satisfied the users who used them.

Solution :-

People liked Windows 98, hated ME, still love XP, abhorred Vista, clung to Windows 7, ridiculed Windows 8 and now for the most enjoy Windows 10. There were three most hated Windows versions. They were Millennium Edition (ME), Vista and Windows 8.

ME was often nicknamed as Mistake Edition, launched in late 2000. ME was sold for about a year. ME was basically Windows 98 with some new features.

Those who never used ME, think of Vista, which was released in 2007. Windows Vista was the worst Windows version ever. The most infamous problem introduced with Vista was User Account Control (UAC).

Windows 8 was released in 2012. For most of the people, the big problem with Windows 8 was that it changed so much for no reason.
