20Hertz (wave cycle per second) 20,000 Hertz...................

ultrasonic sound has higher frequency it has frequency of about more than 20,000 hz whereas infra sonic has less than 20 hz

and humans can only hear from 20 - 20000 hz and for other frequencies we cannot hear anything
