Government of US is divided into three branches i.e. Presidency and Judiciary leaded by Supreme Court.

Framers of Constitution adopts this "separation of powers" rule to prevent one part of government from becoming dictatorial.

In 1864 election Abraham Lincoln who is a Senator Andrew Johnson and a Tennessee Democrat as his vice-presidential mate.

Lincoln believed that Johnson only senator from rebel state remains faithful to Union and would help persuade Democrats to vote Republican.

After assasination of Lincoln Johnson took oath at office on April 15.

Two extreme questions has been faced by the nation.

First and foremost the conditions the Southern rebel states sent to the Union?

What rights should freedmen or ex-slaves have?

After becoming president Johnson begun processing his plan for renovating the South.

Johnson excuses all rebels except Confederation leaders.

Ans.

The US government has three different wings like the Presidency, Judiciary and the legislation which are lead by the Supreme Court.

The framers of the constitution have used the strategy of "separation of powers" to prevent anyone wing of the government from becoming too powerful.

Therefore it was more important to a congressional reconstruction than to the President John's plan.
