- Metals and Engineering: This included making the machinery and cars. 
-  Printing and Stationery: This is where the notes were printed as well as the newspapers.
- Surgical Instruments and watches etc: This industry focused on the materials or instruments to be used by the medical centers and also the watches which were in high demand at that time.
