pH stands for potential of Hydrogen and is used for distinguishing between acids and bases
It ranges from 0 to 14
The substance that have less than 7pH are acids. The substance which are more than 7 are basic.
The concentration of acids increases with decreasing pH.
This means that less pH means the substanceis more acidic.
Hence 5 pH is less than 6pH, 5pH is more acidic.
