steam gives more heat at 100*C

energy of water at 100*C(in Cal.) =

m \times s \times t \\ where \\ m = amount \: of \: water(in \: gram) \\ s = specific \: heat(in \: \frac{cal.}{k.g} ) \\ t = temperature \\ = m \times 1 \times 100 = (100m)calorie

and energy of steam at 100*C=

m \times (latent \: heat \: of \: vapourisation) \\ = (540m)calorie
