STEP FIRST :-

Firstly resolve the Ladder length into it's horizontal and vertical components..

By the figures it's vertical component is 12 m high and as we know that when we apply the Pythagoras law we get the vectors which has the full length ..

R = √ (a)²+ (b)²
R = √ (12)² +(9)²
R = √ 225
R = 15 m

Step 2:-

Now find the projection till half of the length from 15 m .
which means 7.5 m
and from figure we resolve it into.

3m. and 4.5m ..

Step 3:-

Now we apply first condition of equilibrium .

it means summesion of all the force on body in x and y components is zero .

in X direction two forces are actiong .

one which acts on horizontal direction H
and other force of the wall which is denoted by F .

{ Fx = 0.

Fx= H - F

negative sign refers opposite direction of force.

Fx = H-F = 0

Fx = H = F

Now find for vertical direction.

{Fy =0

Fy = v ( upward)..
w .(center of gravity ) downwards.
W. (Center of mass) downwards

Fy=. V - w - W= 0
Fy = V- 600-400
Fy = v-1000
V= 1000N.

STEP :- 4..

In order to find an unknown force we will be applying the torque formula .

T = F × r = 0

by the figure.

firstly the torque would be conciderd by taking radius and f .

the force will be remaining the same where as radius changes ..

so we have ..

T = F× r for radius till G
T = F × Radius till G

this G direction is gonna be anticlockwise means positive where as the center of gravity and center of mass doesn't participate in torque so will be always acting clockwise means the (Negative sign).

combining these all torques we get this ..

STEP 5:-

Now find magnitude of force .

v for vertical axis which is about 1000N by first condition of equilibrium..

and H for horizontal axis which we got now is 300 N

R = √ (v².+ (h)²)
R = √ (1000) ² + (300)²
R = 1044 N

STEP 6:-

AND FOR DIRECTION WE HAVE THIS FORMULA NA ..

tan@= perpendicular/ base

tan@ = 1000/ 300

@ comes to be about 73.3 degrees.
