First We Calculate the Pressure in both situations.
We know that pressure = Force / Area.
Here Force = Mass × acceleration ( Here Gravitational force ).
So Acceleration due to gravity = 9.8N
So force = 100kg × 9.8N = 980N.
So Pressure = 980N/10SQ.M. = 98N/M²
So In First Situation Pressure = 98N/M²
In Second Situation
Pressure = Force / area = mg÷area = 50×9.8÷4 = 122.5N/M².
So In Second Situation Pressure = 122.5N/M².
So 50KG on 4 SQM. Exerts more pressure than 100 KG on 10SQM.
