Which will have greater inertia of A,B and C filled with same volume of mercury water and air . Give reason to support your answer.

In three of them mercury have most density then comes water and then air.
so from the formula
Density=mass/volume
if volume is same, then mass will definitely be more of mercury then water and then air.
And inertia depends on mass.more the mass more the inertia.
So mercury has most inertia then water then air.

ohhk.. thanks a lot but i have another question too. pls if u cn answer it. inertia is just the tendancy of an object to be in motion or at rest unless a force is applied so...i didnt get the connection motion here....till now thats the definition of inertia, if its smthng else pls tell
