A piece of paper has higher electrical resistivity than a metal.

  • There are different types of substances according to the different amounts of possessed electrical resistivity.
  • The insulators are a group of substances which cannot conduct electricity or have a very poor electrical conductivity. This happens due to the high resistivity of the insulators.
  • Similarly paper is a good insulator, and that's why it has much higher resistivity than any other conductor metal.
