Anu Aga was born in a Parsi family on 3rd August 1942. She completed her Bachelor degree in Economics from St Xavier's College, Mumbai.
She started her innings with Thermax in 1985 and went on to head human resources division of the company( 1991 to 1996). After the demise of her husband she took the position of Chairperson of the company. In 2004 she retired from the company and was replaced by her daughter, Meher Pudumjee.
In 2010 she was felicitated with the Padma Shri by the Government of India for Social Work .In 2012 she was nominated to Rajya Sabha by the President of India, Pratibha Patil.
