When the emperor was admiring the painting, the master painter clapped his hands; a door of the cave in the painting opened; Wu Daozi entered the door and the door closed. And the painting disappeared. Wu Daozi was never seen again.
By going inside the painting, he made the King realize that though he was the King of the outer world, yet he had no knowledge of the inner world. Only a master like him knew the way within.
