Given :-

  • mass ( 1 ) = 2 kg
  • acceleration ( 1 ) = 5 m/s²
  • mass ( 2 ) = 4 kg
  • acceleration ( 2 ) = 2 m/s²

To find :-

  • the force , in both the cases

Solution :-

1st case ,

F = ma

→ F ( 1 ) = 2 kg × 5 m/s²

→ F ( 1 ) = 10 kg m/s² or 10 N

2nd case ,

☯ F = ma

→ F ( 2 ) = 4 kg × 2 m/s²

→ F ( 2 ) = 8 kg m/s² or 8 N

[ Conclusions ]

In the 1st case , the force is greater .. Hence , 1st case is the right answer !!
